Schoharie is pleased to announce the launch of the
new "School News Notifier" (SNN), a system designed to help keep
parents and the community more in touch with what is happening at
Schoharie Central School.
SNN is an opt-in e-mail and cell phone alert system for which parents, residents,
and staff members can sign up to receive e-mail alerts from the
district. With SNN, district officials have the power to send
updates and reminders about district activities or information
regarding emergency school closings and delays. Users can choose to
receive some or all of the alerts, and they can unsubscribe at any
time. **Your e-mail address and personal information will be kept
confidential.**
To sign up, simply click on the SNN icon (left) and create a profile. You
will be asked to fill in your name, your e-mail address and to
select a password. Once you have created your profile, you will be
asked to select which alerts you would like to receive. After you
have chosen your alerts and clicked “subscribe” you will be all set!
Should you wish to change your selected alerts, you may do so by
logging in to the system and updating your profile. If at any time
you decide that you no longer want to receive ANY updates from
Schoharie's SNN system, it is easy to unsubscribe. When you visit
the SNN home page, there is an "unsubscribe" link on the right hand
navigational rail. Click on it, fill in the form and you're done!
Note: Tracfone users should select AT&T as their carrier.
