Elementary principal’s email: May 22

The following email was sent home to Schoharie Elementary Families in Friday, May 22:

Monday is officially a holiday.  Students will not be assigned any work for that date.  Please enjoy your Memorial Day weekend!

We are working hard to finalize end of the year events at Schoharie Elementary School. Traditions are so important to celebrate, especially in these unconventional times.  Please know we are developing these plans in careful consideration of your children, the requirements placed upon us by the Governor and Schoharie County Health Department, the input you are providing us through social media and your outreach efforts, and the memories we’d like to help you create.  We will not be able to host any events that would create a gathering of more than ten people, but we do intend to develop a combination of virtual and socially distant events.

We will share more information as we finalize plans.  Please save the date for the events that are applicable to you.

Awards Ceremonies
For students in grades 1-5, awards will be presented by grade level through a link to a slide presentation.  Individual awards will be mailed home to recipients.
