FBLA awards honor business skill

Members of Schoharie Jr./Sr. High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter brought home several awards from their spring district meeting in Clifton Park on Feb. 6.

Advisor Jen McClure reported, “Carissa Palmatier placed 4th in Client Service. John Polley placed 3rd in Personal Finance and 2nd in Introduction to Business. David St. George placed 4th in Basic Decision Making. 

“Last but not least, Jacquelyn Sullivan placed 2nd in Personal Finance, 2nd in Introduction to Financial Math and qualified as a finalist in Introduction to Public Speaking. She will continue in this event at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in April.  Congratulations to all!”
