Governor extends school budget vote to June 16; Board of Education meeting rescheduled

Schoharie Central School District residents will now have more time to mail in their absentee ballots for the 2020-21 proposed budget vote and Board of Education elections.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo is extending the school budget vote count date from Tuesday, June 9 to Tuesday, June 16. In-person ballot drop offs will continue through 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 9, while mail-in ballots must be received by 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 16.
The Board of Education Meeting that was scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2020, has also been rescheduled to Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
