Children who will be five-years-old on or before Dec. 1, 2020 and live in the Schoharie Central School District are eligible for kindergarten.
Screenings will be held April 7 and 8 for all students entering kindergarten in September 2020, whether previously enrolled in pre-kindergarten or not. Visitations and registration of those students who are new to Schoharie Central School will be held April 8.
Please pass the word along to neighbors and friends who are new to our district to contact the elementary school if they have a prospective kindergarten student for the 2020-2021 school year. Parents/guardians will receive a letter in early March explaining the kindergarten readiness screening process and information regarding appointment times.
