A Schoharie Central School bus returning from BOCES was involved in a collision with a tractor trailer on the Exit 23 off ramp of I-88 this morning.
There were no students on the bus at the time of the accident. The driver was not injured.
State police and local volunteer firefighters responded to the scene. Although the bus was heavily damaged and will need to be replaced, the district does not anticipate any disruptions to the normal bus schedule for the remainder of the week.
