Due to an error originating with health officials, families impacted by quarantines on Jan. 14 may have been contacted on Jan. 16 and given an incorrect end date.
The quarantines for those students whose families were contacted by our district yesterday will end on midnight, Jan. 18 and not Jan. 24 as indicated by health officials. The original information that Schoharie CSD provided to families had the correct quarantine end date of midnight on Jan. 18.
This means that those in quarantine may return to school on Tuesday, Jan. 19. All families should continue to practice COVID prevention and monitor for symptoms. Please remember to complete the daily COVID screening.
