The FFA Chapters in Schoharie County were presented with incentive grants at the annual meeting of the Schoharie County Farm Bureau on Friday, Sept. 13.

The Cobleskill-Richmondville, Sharon Springs, Middleburgh and Schoharie Valley FFA chapters will use the funds to implement or expand agricultural literacy programming within their respective elementary schools on a regular basis. Promoting agricultural literacy at every age is an important component of agricultural education and these funds allow local FFA chapter members to connect with their peers and foster an understanding and appreciation of the food, fiber and natural resource industries in NY and the United States.
