Congratulations to the Schoharie Valley FFA members that competed in Career & Leadership Development Contests at the NY State FFA Convention May 9-14th. We had numerous members place in the top ten against FFA members from 225 chapters across NY state.

Chloe Armstrong, 3rd Place Junior Extemporaneous Speaking – Chloe qualified for this contest through her placing at District 2 contest and a top 2 placing at Eastern Region Substates to compete in the finals at State Convention.

Nathan Kuehnle 6th Place Talent
Nick Parker, 8th Place Maple
Schoharie Valley had FIVE of the top ten Junior Tool Contest Placings, along with the team of Noah DeBoer & Jillian Kennedy taking home the honors of 1st place team.
Jillian Kennedy placed 2nd, Jake Doherty placed 3rd, Dalton Oliver placed 5th, JJ Liddle placed 9th and Nathan Kuehnle placed 10th.
Chloe Armstrong, Nathan Kuehnle & Noah DeBoer were the 3rd place overall Junior Quiz Bowl team.
In addition to the competitions, students had the opportunity to participate in various leadership workshops, attend virtual tours and hear from keynote speakers Amberly Snyder and Sam Demma. Tyler Lloyd & Noah Dutcher served as voting delegates during the business session.
