Principal Andrea Polikoski, kindergarten teacher Kim DiNuzzo and 3rd grade teachers Natalie McKay and Megan Caruso took the plunge into the 35 degree water, with air temperatures hovering right around 30 degrees.

First grade teacher Nancy Anderson cheered and photoed the Polar Plunge team at the event. The team, which also included speech therapist Michele Borst, raised $755 for SONY.

“I’m so proud of our team for following through with this fun endeavor,” said Principal Polikoski. “With community support, we were able to raise enough to send two athletes to the Special Olympics Winter Games. We look forward to participating again next year.”
