The varsity girls tennis team served up a big win at the Invitational Maple Hill Fall Sports Weekend Girls Varsity Tennis Tournament on Oct. 14.
The team defeated Greenwich 3-0, Maple Hill 2-1 and Ichabod Crane 2-1.
Schoharie was 6-7 in the Colonial Council this year and was seeded third for the class C/D Sectionals. They defeated Cairo-Durham 4-3 in the semifinals and then lost to Chatham 3-4 in the finals.
According to Coach France, “Our team had a great year and defeated teams they haven’t won against before.”
