Travel Club expands horizons

6 students, 1 adult pose in United Kingdom

Students in Schoharie Jr./Sr. High School’s Travel Club are seeing the world. During the recent spring break, they spent over 10 days in Ireland, Wales, England and Scotland seeing sights such as the Ring of Kerry, Dublin, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, London, Westminster Abby, Edinburgh and Sterling Castle.

The students also visited an Irish sheep farm, attended an Irish music and dance show, visited the Queen of England’s home at Windsor Castle and took a trip to the Scottish highlands.

“It was a remarkable experience!” said club advisor Martin Messner.
