Schoharie Central School is proud to announce that Ethan VanDerwerken was selected because of his vocal musical excellence to perform in the All-State Festival at the NYSSMA Annual Winter Conference.
This festival is held from December 5-8 in Rochester, New York. Ethan, a Schoharie junior, was chosen because of his score and adjudication for his vocal solo at the spring NYSSMA festival in Norwich. Thousands of students perform at NYSSMA festivals across New York State and a very small percentage are selected to participate in the All-State conference.
Ethan was chosen to sing as a Bass 1 in the Mixed Chorus in Rochester.
