Schoharie Central School is proud to announce that three vocalists were selected because of their vocal musical excellence to perform in the NYSSMA All–State Festival this year.
This festival will be held in late November and early December in Rochester, New York. Seniors Teyah Mason and Sophia Styles and junior Ryan Snyder were chosen based on their outstanding scores and adjudications of their vocal solos at this spring’s NYSSMA festival.
Thousands of students perform at NYSSMA festivals across New York State and a very small percentage are selected to participate in the All–State conference. All singers will be members of the Mixed Chorus, Teyah was selected to sing as an Alto 1, Sophia was selected to sing as a Soprano 2 and Ryan was selected to sing as a Bass 1.
We are incredibly proud of these three musicians for this prestigious accomplishment!
