SCS has an immediate need for substitute teaching assistants, substitute teacher aides, substitute bus aides and other non-certified substitute positions. The district offers excellent opportunities for area residents to work in a positive and rewarding environment.

Applying For a Job at SCS
All applicants should submit a resume, cover letter stating the position you are applying for, a completed application, three letters of recommendation, proof of certification (if applicable), and fingerprinting clearance. Fingerprinting
New York State law requires that the Office of School Personnel Review and Accountability conduct fingerprint-supported criminal history background checks for applicants for certification and all prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and BOCES. As a result, applicants for employment, including substitutes and coaches, are required to register, schedule, apply for fingerprinting clearance. Go to Fingerprinting Procedure webpage
