Capital project FoRum

Schoharie CSD is hosting a Capital Project Forum at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 16.

A $3.9 million proposal will be put before voters on May 19. The forum, which will be held in the Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium is an opportunity for our school community to learn more about the needs behind the planned project, as well as a chance to ask questions.

A tour of the recently completed Capital Project in the Elementary wing is also planned.

Local Author Works With Elementary Students

Students sit around a table with a local author

A big “THANK YOU!” to local author Amber Bradbury who spent time with Elementary students on Wednesday. Amber is from Glenville and her books include “If Grandma Were Here” and “If Grandpa Were Here.” She helped first and second grade students share memories, draw a memory in a treasure box and then write about how the memory made them feel. These are great experiences for students as we continue to focus on the joys and benefits of reading.
