Congratulations to Schoharie’s Jr. High Choir and Jr. High Band who performed at the Trills & Thrills festival near Lake George on Friday, May 30 and who earned the festival’s highest rating: Superior!
Students performed for two adjudicators who were both former music educators. These judges provided each ensemble with a running evaluation of recorded comments and filled out a rubric based on their performances to determine the groups’ ratings.
After their performances, the students went to Six Flags Great Escape and spent the afternoon celebrating by exploring the park enjoying the amusement park rides!
