Electric Bikes and Scooters are Prohibited

The Schoharie CSD Board of Education recently adopted a new policy that prohibits the use of electric bikes and scooters on the school grounds.

The prohibition applies to all E-bikes and scooters and applies to students and adults. The move was prompted by safety concerns for students, staff and school visitors. It is a 24-7 prohibition, which means E-bikes and scooters are not allowed on the school grounds before, during or after school or at any time when school is not in session.

Traditional non-electric bikes continue to be permitted.
