Capital project FoRum

Schoharie CSD is hosting a Capital Project Forum at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 16.

A $3.9 million proposal will be put before voters on May 19. The forum, which will be held in the Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium is an opportunity for our school community to learn more about the needs behind the planned project, as well as a chance to ask questions.

A tour of the recently completed Capital Project in the Elementary wing is also planned.

Artwork on a wall

Have you seen our display featuring the artwork of Victor Lovsin? His family, who are great supporters of the community, donated the artwork to our school. We were recently able to have it installed with some great information about Victor’s life and his experiences before, during and after the Holocaust. The display is located in the hallway outside of the district and business offices, adjacent to the jr./sr. high school gym. We are very grateful for the donation and the opportunity to share Victor’s story and artwork.
