Schoharie Student in the Running for FFA District 2 President

On March 16th, Schoharie Valley FFA Member Peyton Salisbury was interviewed to be a District 2 President candidate. This process consisted of taking a test to evaluate her agricultural knowledge, giving a prepared speech on the meaning of the FFA Corduroy Jacket, and answering various questions from the nominating committee.

After a long wait, on April 13th it was announced that she is the first slate for District 2 President! Delegates from various chapters in our District will vote for the candidate of their choice at the NYS FFA State Convention in May!
Congratulations Peyton!
