For the third consecutive year, SCS Student Government will be sponsoring the School Level Spelling Bee. Below is the schedule:
- Monday, November 3–Student Government will pass out the Classroom Spelling Bee materials to ELA teachers grade 4-8
- November/December–ELA teachers will individually hold written Classroom Spelling Bees
- Friday, December 19–each grade level ELA teacher will submit the names of the top 4 spellers (20 total students grades 4-8)
- Tuesday, January 13–School Level Spelling Bee in the HS Auditorium (w/Marion Burghart as pronouncer) at 9:00 am
- Wednesday, January 14–SPELLING BEE SNOW DATE–HS AUDITORIUM–9:00 am
