Capital project FoRum

Schoharie CSD is hosting a Capital Project Forum at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 16.

A $3.9 million proposal will be put before voters on May 19. The forum, which will be held in the Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium is an opportunity for our school community to learn more about the needs behind the planned project, as well as a chance to ask questions. 

A tour of the recently completed Capital Project in the Elementary wing is also planned.

2020 Graduate Returns to Talk About Air Force Experiences

Seth Walker, a 2020 graduate of Schoharie HS, recently returned to our community to talk about his experiences in the US Air Force. 

Seth, 21, whose brother, Drew Gathen, is in Mrs. O’Rourke’s 4th grade class and he spent time talking with the class about what life is like in the Air Force. 

Seth was home on leave before he headed for Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska, where he will be permanently stationed to help maintain F-16s.
