Members of the Youth Belonging Leadership Team met with representatives from SEEC (Schoharie Economic Enterprise Corp.) to discuss possible collaborations between students and local businesses and organizations. The group discussed technology mentorship opportunities, marketing the assets of Schoharie Valley from the perspective of students in the form of digital storytelling, among other ideas.
Julie Pacatte, SEEC’s executive director and Afolabi Salami, SEEC’s Senior Program Administrator spent time with the students and gave them a tour of their facilities at 287 Main Street. They also shared SEEC’s purpose and vision. Our students are excited to explore these collaborative possibilities and put some of these ideas into action!
